gfastudio takes your project from initial feasibilities to concept, approvals, construction and  completion.
As every project is unique the process is tailored for your needs and is generally based on the following stages.

FEASABILITY

This is an initial consultation to understand the project, brainstorm ideas, assess site, applicable controls, budgets, opportunities, and limitations. It’s offered as a fixed fee without further commitment and would be undertaken prior to the standard Client Architect agreement to proceed with professional design services

CONCEPT

Following on from the first stage, these outcomes are crystalized into the project strategy towards a holistic and resolved concept design. A comprehensive Revit model provides all necessary design data and 2/3d graphic representations.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Once the Concept has been agreed it’s developed and refined with the consultant team to coordinate and integrate their requirements into the Architecture. Budget, constructability, compliance, materiality is also thoroughly assessed, and the documentation further developed.

APPROVALS

The preparation and coordination of submissions necessary to obtain statutory approvals via DA (development application) or CDC Complying Development Certification pathways.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION

This stage produces the necessary documentation to facilitate tendering and pricing of the project towards the appointment of a Contractor for the works. Detailed layouts, schedules and construction details at larger scale are prepared. Materials, equipment, systems, fittings and fixture selections are made. Specifications, cost plans need also be considered as part of this stage depending on the size and complexity of the project
